Manchester City set to make a big offer for Palmeiras starlet Vitor Reis

Manchester City is preparing to submit a bid of 40 million euros for Vitor Reis, a centre-back from Palmeiras. Approaching his 19th birthday, Reis is under contract with Verdao until the conclusion of 2028.
The news regarding City's interest in Vitor Reis was reported by UOL. It is noted that the young player has already reached a verbal agreement with the English club.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano further indicated that representatives from Manchester City are currently in Brazil to formalize the offer during a meeting with Palmeiras.
The urgency for Manchester City to bolster their defensive lineup has led them to target Vitor Reis for a January transfer. Reis has been part of Palmeiras since 2016, having joined the club at the age of 10.
Reis made his debut for the Verdao first team in mid-2024 and quickly made a significant impact. Last season, he participated in 22 matches, starting in 20 of them, and netted two goals.
In addition to his club achievements, the defender has also had a notable tenure with the Brazilian U-17 national team, where he served as captain during the recent FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2023.
