Manchester United announce signing of Netherlands forward Zirkzee

During the last campaign in Serie A, he stood out, earning a call-up to represent Netherlands at Euro 2024.
Zirkzee had previous experience with Bayern Munich's senior and youth teams, then went on loan to Anderlecht before making a permanent move to Bologna. Scoring 12 goals across all competitions in the previous season attracted the attention of Manchester United, who managed to secure his services.
In his statement upon signing, Zirkzee mentioned: "After discussing with the team's manager and leaders, I am excited about the future at this club and eager to contribute to Manchester United's success.
I have always given my all to win, and I am prepared for this new challenge to elevate my career and win more trophies. Joining such an iconic club is an honor, and I am looking forward to making an impact right from the start."
With a short break to recover from his time with the national team, the new signing is expected to make his debut for Manchester United in the Community Shield against Manchester City on Saturday, August 10th.
