Manchester United legend Roy Keane labels Erling Haaland a 'spoilt brat'

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has once again criticized Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, branding him a "spoilt brat." Keane's feud with the Norwegian player has been ongoing this season, and he reignited it after City's 5-1 victory against Wolves.

Despite Haaland's impressive performance, scoring four goals and helping City close the gap on Premier League leaders Arsenal, he appeared frustrated when substituted by manager Pep Guardiola towards the end of the match.

Guardiola later explained that Haaland was annoyed with the officiating, but Keane wasted no time in lambasting the striker.

Speaking as a pundit for Liverpool's win against Tottenham, Keane stated, "I think we saw Haaland yesterday brought off not too happy, behaving like a spoilt brat.

" Keane had previously criticized Haaland's overall play this season, comparing it to that of a "League Two" player. This led Haaland to respond, saying, "I don't really care that much about that man, so that's all right.

" It is worth noting that Keane was famously sent off for a harsh tackle on Haaland's father, Alfie, during a Manchester derby in 2001. Keane admitted in his autobiography that the challenge was premeditated due to a prior grudge.

Following a tackle with Alfie while playing for Leeds in 1997, Keane sustained an injury. The Norwegian player then confronted him, insinuating that Keane was pretending to be hurt.

However, Keane had actually ruptured his cruciate ligament. In his book recounting their clash in 2001,

Keane expressed his frustration by stating, "I had been patient for too long. I delivered a strong blow. The ball was in play (I believe). Consider that. And refrain from looking down on me while mocking my injuries."
