Manchester United's Maguire expected to miss three weeks with muscle injury

Manchester United's center back, Harry Maguire (31), is set to miss the rest of the Premier League season due to a muscle injury sustained during training, as confirmed by the club on Sunday.

This unfortunate setback could potentially rule him out of the FA Cup final.

According to a statement released by the club on Sunday, Maguire, who has been a regular starter in United's last six matches, is expected to be sidelined for approximately three weeks.

However, the club reassured fans that he will recover in time for Euro 2024, which commences on June 14th.

There is also a possibility that he could make a comeback for the FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 15th at Wembley.

Injuries have plagued United's defensive line throughout the season, causing significant disruptions.

Currently, United sits in eighth place in the Premier League table with four games remaining.

Their upcoming fixtures include an away match against Crystal Palace on Monday, followed by home games against Arsenal and Newcastle, before concluding the league season with an away fixture against Newcastle.
