Matthew Stafford throws four touchdowns, leading the Rams to victory over the Vikings in an NFL matchup.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford achieved a remarkable performance on Thursday, throwing for 279 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Rams to a 30-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Los Angeles. This win marked only the Vikings' second loss of the season.
Entering the game with just three touchdown passes for the season, Stafford benefited significantly from the return of key receivers Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, who had been sidelined due to injuries.
With this victory, the Rams improved their record to 3-4, securing their second win in five days and remaining competitive in the NFC West division.
Nacua, who had missed the first week of the season, recorded seven receptions for 106 yards, while Kupp, who had been out since week two, contributed five catches for 51 yards and a touchdown.
For the Vikings, this defeat marked their second in less than a week, having previously lost to the Detroit Lions on Sunday after starting the season undefeated.
The Vikings began the game strongly, scoring on their first drive when quarterback Sam Darnold connected with tight end Josh Oliver for a five-yard touchdown.
Stafford quickly equalized with a five-yard touchdown pass to running back Kyren Williams.
The game continued to see momentum shifts, with Darnold throwing a 10-yard touchdown pass to Trent Sherfield, followed by Stafford's seven-yard touchdown pass to Kupp, bringing the score to 14-14.
Rams head coach Sean McVay took the opportunity during the post-game press conference to address rumors regarding Kupp's potential trade. "The things I've seen out there, they're not true," McVay stated. "I'm really glad to have Cooper Kupp back with us and I expect it to stay that way."
Stafford's only interception of the game provided the Vikings with an opportunity in the third quarter, leading to a field goal by Will Reichard that put Minnesota ahead 17-14.
However, Stafford quickly responded, orchestrating a drive of 70 yards over eight plays, culminating in a 25-yard touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson, which gave Los Angeles a 21-17 lead for the first time in the game.
Following another field goal by Reichard, Stafford completed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Robinson, extending the lead to 28-20 with 6:17 left in the game.
The Vikings were presented with a final opportunity, but Darnold was sacked in the end zone with 1:36 on the clock, resulting in a safety that awarded the Rams an additional two points.
Darnold expressed his frustration after the play, asserting to the officials that Rams defender Byron Young had pulled his facemask. However, the officials did not acknowledge the infraction, and the call was not subject to review.
Had the penalty been recognized, the Vikings would have been granted a first down and sufficient time to attempt another score.
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell, who served as the offensive coordinator under McVay during Los Angeles' Super Bowl victory three seasons prior, stated that he did not intend to assign blame.
"I will not offer any excuses regarding the short week or penalties or anything of that nature," he remarked.
"We will return to work. We are a 5-2 football team with much of the season still ahead of us."
