Mercedes confirms Lewis Hamilton will race the last three events

Lewis Hamilton, aged 39, is set to join Ferrari for the upcoming season. However, reports suggesting that the seven-time Formula 1 champion would leave Mercedes before the conclusion of the current season have been denied by the team.
Speculation regarding Hamilton's immediate departure from his current team emerged following a disappointing performance in Brazil, where he finished 11th in the sprint race on Saturday and 10th in the Sao Paulo Grand Prix on Sunday.
After the latter race, Hamilton expressed his frustration over the radio, stating, "That was a disaster of a weekend, guys. The worst the car has ever been. Thank you for contributing to try and great job to all the guys at the pit-stop. If this is the last time I get to perform, it was a shame it wasn't great but (I am) grateful for you."
In an interview with Sky Sports F1, Hamilton mentioned that rather than participating in the final three races of the season, he "could happily go and take a holiday."
Nevertheless, various media sources reported on Wednesday that Mercedes has confirmed Hamilton will compete in the upcoming races in Las Vegas on November 24, Lusail, Qatar on December 1, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on December 8.
Currently, Hamilton ranks seventh in the F1 driver standings, while Mercedes occupies the fourth position in the constructor standings. This year, he has secured two victories, at the British Grand Prix and the Belgian Grand Prix, marking the 104th and 105th wins of his career. His championship titles were achieved in 2008, 2014, 2015, and four consecutive years from 2017 to 2020.
