Mike Tyson says he feels '100 per cent' after plane health scare

Mike Tyson, aged 57, affirmed on Tuesday that he was feeling completely well, despite a recent health scare.

This incident occurred as he was getting ready for his upcoming July match against Youtuber Jake Paul, aged 27.

The former world heavyweight champion required medical attention on Sunday due to complaints of nausea and dizziness during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

Emergency medical services were called to the Los Angeles International Airport to assist Tyson before the other passengers were allowed to disembark the American Airlines flight.

Despite concerns about his age and the potential risks associated with his return to the ring, Tyson remains confident in his abilities. He expressed his well-being in a short message on X, formerly known as Twitter, stating, "Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.

" The professional bout between Tyson, who will turn 58 in June, and Paul will consist of eight two-minute rounds and has been approved by boxing authorities in Texas.

Although Tyson has not participated in a professional match since 2005, he did engage in an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.
