Milik hat-trick helps ease Juventus past Frosinone and into Coppa Italia semi-finals

Milik initiated the scoring in the 11th minute by converting a penalty kick, deceiving Frosinone goalkeeper Michele Cerofolini with his shot after a foul was committed on midfielder Fabio Miretti.
In the 38th minute, the Polish striker extended the lead by finding the back of the net from close range. He skillfully controlled a superb cross from Weston McKennie. Shortly after halftime, Milik secured his hat-trick by capitalizing on Frosinone's defensive error, with Manuel Locatelli providing the assist.
Although Milik believed he had scored his fourth goal around the 60th minute, it was disallowed due to an offside decision.
However, just minutes later, Kenan Yildiz made it 4-0 by expertly finishing another precise pass from McKennie with his first touch.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri expressed his gratitude towards the team for their impressive performance and entertaining the spectators. He emphasized the importance of staying focused, playing with determination, and maintaining a strong defensive stance.
Allegri acknowledged the significance of not conceding goals, as they had been struggling in that aspect recently.
While celebrating the victory, Allegri reminded the team to shift their focus to the upcoming match against Sassuolo, who had defeated them in the previous encounter in Serie A.
Having reached the semi-finals 36 times in the competition's history, the most by any team, Juventus will now face Lazio in a two-legged semi-final in April. This achievement highlights their consistent success in the tournament, which has seen 77 editions thus far.
On the other side of the bracket, Fiorentina will compete against Atalanta in the other semi-final.
The final match is scheduled to take place on May 15th at the Stadio Olimpico.
