Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers matchup moved to December 28

The game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers on December 28th has been rescheduled to the 16:25 time slot, taking the place of the Philadelphia Eagles versus Dallas Cowboys matchup.

The Eagles and Cowboys game has been shifted to 13:00 to accommodate an NFC North clash that will be featured prominently.

Currently, the Vikings are pursuing a division title following their recent victory over the Seattle Seahawks, which improved their record to 13-2 for the season. Meanwhile, the Packers, with a record of 10-4, aim to secure a win against their division rivals.

This matchup will occur at US Bank Stadium in Minnesota. In their earlier encounter this season, the Packers suffered a narrow defeat at home, losing 31-29.

Should the Vikings emerge victorious, their final game of the season against the Detroit Lions (also 13-2) could not only provide an opportunity to clinch the division but also potentially secure the top seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Regarding the Eagles versus Cowboys game, the matchup has been moved to the 13:00 slot, which is logical given that the Cowboys are no longer in playoff contention, despite having won four of their last five games.

The Eagles (12-3) still have a slim chance at securing the top seed in the NFC, but they will require assistance following a significant loss to the Washington Commanders. Additionally, quarterback Jalen Hurts is currently in concussion protocol, making his availability for the game uncertain.

The remainder of the Week 17 schedule will remain unchanged.
