Vinnie Pasquantino's career-high five RBIs, including a home run, propelled the Kansas City Royals to an 11-2 victory over the Houston Astros. Pasquantino's two-run double in the third inning kickstarted a seven-run surge, with Nelson Velazquez and Hunter Renfroe also contributing RBIs.

Astros' starter Spencer Arrighetti struggled, throwing 43 pitches in the big inning. Royals' starter Seth Lugo earned the win, pitching six innings with two runs allowed. Kansas City's strong starting pitching has led them to a six-game winning streak.

The Baltimore Orioles secured a 7-5 victory over the Boston Red Sox, with Jordan Westburg contributing significantly by hitting a three-run home run among his two hits.

Baltimore managed to overcome a five-run deficit by scoring three runs in the sixth inning and adding four more in the seventh, highlighted by Westburg's home run off Chris Martin.

Mike Baumann earned the win, while Craig Kimbrell secured his second save with a perfect ninth inning. Triston Casas stood out for Boston with two hits, including a two-run home run.

In another game, the Philadelphia Phillies narrowly defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3, with Aaron Nola pitching six innings and allowing two runs on three hits.

Nola struck out three batters and walked three, helping the Phillies finish their road trip with a 4-2 record. Ivan Herrera and Brendan Donovan hit solo home runs for the Cardinals.

Lastly, the Seattle Mariners claimed a 6-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in 10 innings, with Cal Raleigh hitting a two-run home run in the 10th inning to lead the Mariners to victory.

This win prevented a sweep by Toronto, with Raleigh's home run coming against Tim Mayza and scoring Luke Raley. Mitch White replaced Mayza and allowed Ty France's RBI double and Mitch Haniger's two-run single.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a solo home run for Toronto, while Yusei Kikuchi pitched six innings for Seattle, allowing one run on three hits with nine strikeouts.
