MLS sets new Attendance Record with 11 Million Fans This Season

This milestone surpasses the previous record of 10.9 million set in 2024, marking the third consecutive year the league has drawn more than 10 million spectators.
According to the league, the average game attendance now stands at 23,240, making this the first time MLS has exceeded the 11 million fan threshold in its history. The increase in attendance is largely attributed to the arrival of international stars, including global icon Lionel Messi, whose presence has spurred teams to relocate games to larger venues to meet growing demand.

"The introduction of international talent and the efforts by clubs to offer more appealing ticket packages and enhanced game day experiences are pivotal factors driving the remarkable rise in attendance across MLS," the league said in a statement.
