Muchova pulls out of next month's Australian Open with wrist injury

The talented Czech player had an impressive season, reaching the finals of the French Open and making it to the semi-finals of the U.S. Open. Unfortunately, her journey was cut short by the recurring wrist issue.
Initially, Muchova had planned to compete in the season-ending championships in Cancun, but she had to withdraw and was replaced by Maria Sakkari.
Expressing her disappointment, Muchova took to Instagram to share the news with her followers.
She explained that the pain in her wrist resurfaced during her preparation for the new season, forcing her to delay her return to the court until she fully recovers.
Although it is frustrating for Muchova, she remains positive and determined to heal her wrist completely before resuming her tennis career.
She is focused on recovering and preparing for the upcoming tournaments throughout the year.
The Australian Open is scheduled to take place from January 14th to January 28th.
