Mudryk, Broja Score as Chelsea Get Needed Win Against Derby Rivals Fulham

Chelsea secured a much-needed Premier League victory on Monday with a 2-0 win against Fulham. The match, played at Craven Cottage, saw Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja score within a minute in the first half, earning Mauricio Pochettino's team a crucial three points.

This victory marks Chelsea's first Premier League win since August 25 and only their second in the top flight for the current season. The team's performance had been lackluster despite significant investments in the transfer market during the offseason.

Mudryk opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 18th minute, capitalizing on Levi Colwill's pass. Just a minute later, Broja doubled the lead with an assist from Cole Palmer.

In the second half, substitute Ian Maatsen came close to extending Chelsea's lead with a side-footed effort that hit the post. Enzo Fernandez attempted to convert the rebound, but Fulham's goalkeeper Bernd Leno made the save.

Fulham had an opportunity to score in the 77th minute when substitute Sasa Lukic had a shot from close range, but it was directly at Chelsea's goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.

This win gives Chelsea something to build on after a challenging start to the season under Pochettino's leadership. Despite the optimism surrounding his appointment, the team struggled early in the season, making this victory a significant step forward.
