NBA roundup: Cavaliers improve their perfect start to 11-0 record with a win over the Nets

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, preserving their perfect start to the season.
Evan Mobley's outstanding defensive performance and Donovan Mitchell's 22 points laid the groundwork for Cleveland's improbable 105-100 victory, which lifted the team's record to 11-0.
Mobley led Cleveland in scoring with 23 points, but his work on the other end of the court proved important.
The 23-year-old power big grabbed 13 defensive rebounds, four steals, and one block as Cleveland rallied from a 14-point deficit in the third quarter to win.
The Cavaliers outscored Brooklyn 35-18 in the fourth quarter, but only took the lead after two Garland free throws put them up 97-96 with little over two minutes left.
Cleveland maintained its slim lead for the rest of the game, with Mobley eliciting loud roars of applause following an incredible block of a Cameron Johnson layup in the final seconds, which was indicative of his performance.
In other games on Saturday, Collin Sexton scored 23 points and Lauri Markkanen added 20, helping the Utah Jazz defeat San Antonio 111-110 for their second NBA victory of the season.
Victor Wembanyama, last season's NBA Rookie of the Year, had 24 points, 16 rebounds, and seven blocked shots, but the 20-year-old French star was called for a costly offensive foul in the dying seconds.
Jordan Clarkson added 16 points off the bench for the Jazz, who improved to 2-7 but still rank last in the Western Conference.
Stephon Castle scored 23 points for the Spurs, while Devin Vassell added 21 off the bench for San Antonio, which dropped to 4-6.
Keldon Johnson's three-pointer pulled San Antonio within a point with 31 seconds left, but Clarkson responded with two free throws to put Utah ahead 107-104.
On the next Spurs possession, Wemby was called for an offensive foul while setting a screen, a call that was upheld after a video review, and Clarkson added two free throws.
Julian Champagnie responded with a corner 3-pointer for the Spurs with five seconds left, but Sexton sunk two final Jazz free throws, and Vassell's 3-pointer at the buzzer for San Antonio was too little, too late.
Meanwhile, in Atlanta, the Chicago Bulls defeated the Hawks 125-113 thanks to a balanced offence.
Eight Chicago players ended in double figures, with Ayo Dosunmo leading the way with 19 points off the bench and Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and Coby White each scoring 18.
