On the other hand, the Boston Celtics staged an impressive comeback, overcoming a 21-point deficit to defeat the Pistons 128-122 in overtime. The Celtics remain undefeated at home with a record of 15-0.
Kristaps Porzingis led the way for Boston with a season-high 35 points and eight rebounds, while Jayson Tatum contributed 31 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds.
For the Pistons, Cade Cunningham led the team with 31 points and nine assists, supported by Jaden Ivey's 22 points and 10 rebounds, Jalen Duren's 15 points and 14 rebounds, and Bojan Bogdanovic's 17 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists.
In another game, the Denver Nuggets dominated the Memphis Grizzlies with a final score of 142-105. Nikola Jokic recorded his 11th triple-double of the season, finishing with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Jamal Murray contributed 23 points and nine assists to secure the victory for the Nuggets. Peyton Watson had a career-high 20 points, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Julian Strawther added 12 points each.
