NFL roundup: Ravens soar over Broncos, Lions hit NFC best 7-1 record

The Baltimore Ravens showcased their dominance as the top offense in the NFL with a decisive 41-10 victory over the Denver Broncos, while the Detroit Lions continued to build on their impressive season.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson shone for the Ravens, throwing for 280 yards and three touchdowns. This win came after a surprising loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Jackson made history by becoming the first quarterback in the team's history to throw for at least 275 yards in five consecutive games and achieved his third game in a row without an interception. He also recorded a perfect passer rating for the fourth time in his career.

"I knew what I had to do," Jackson said, despite missing practice earlier in the week due to knee and back issues. "I definitely studied those guys."

Derrick Henry was a key player for Baltimore, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Ravens improve to 6-3.

Henry has scored in every game this season and has surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the sixth time in his career. He leads all NFL running backs in rushing attempts, yards, touchdowns, and yards per carry, making a strong MVP case alongside Jackson.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions kept their momentum going with another significant win against their division rivals.

After Green Bay scored an early field goal, the Lions took control when quarterback Jared Goff connected with Amon-Ra St. Brown for a three-yard touchdown pass, scoring 17 points in the second quarter. St. Brown is now tied for second in the league with six receiving touchdowns, just one behind Ja'Marr Chase.

The Lions capped off the first half with a field goal and a touchdown, thanks to defensive back Kirby Joseph, who intercepted a pass from Packers quarterback Jordan Love and returned it for a touchdown.

Detroit scored 24 points before Green Bay managed to get their second field goal. A late touchdown from the Packers made the score look better, but the Lions dominated the game, winning 7-1 for the first time since 1956, the best record in the NFC.

"It was a fun game," Goff said.

"In Green Bay, at Lambeau, we're seen as the 'dome team' that struggles outside, yet we came here and won."

In Buffalo, Tyler Bass kicked a 61-yard field goal in the final moments, leading the Bills to a 30-27 win over the Miami Dolphins, solidifying their lead in the AFC East.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen passed for 235 yards and threw three touchdowns in the second half, helping Buffalo secure their fourth straight win, now at 7-2 for the season and 3-0 against division rivals.

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa connected with Jaylen Waddle for a seven-yard touchdown, tying the game at 27-27 with 1:38 left.

The Bills faced challenges on their next drive, but two penalties against Miami allowed Buffalo to set up Bass for a career-long field goal, clinching the win in a game with four lead changes in the fourth quarter.

"I'm so proud of him, happy for him," Allen said about Bass.

"The challenges he's faced this year... a 61-yard field goal to win against a division rival, that's what great stories are made of."

A thrilling game in Seattle ended with the Rams winning 26-20 in overtime, thanks to Demarcus Robinson's amazing one-handed catch of a 39-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford.

The Seahawks had tied the game with a 14-yard touchdown in the last minute of regulation, pushing the game into overtime, but they couldn't score on their first drive in the extra period.

The Washington Commanders moved to 7-2, leading the NFC East after a 27-22 win against their rivals, the New York Giants.

Atlanta held onto their lead in the NFC South with a 27-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys, who lost quarterback Dak Prescott to a hamstring injury in the third quarter.
