NFL roundup: Steelers edge AFC North rivals Ravens as Lions thrash Jaguars

The Pittsburgh Steelers maintained their supremacy over AFC North rivals Baltimore, securing an 18-16 victory on Sunday.
Despite a late surge from the Ravens, the Steelers improved their record to 8-2 for the season, while Baltimore fell to 7-4, marking their eighth defeat in nine encounters with Pittsburgh.
The Steelers achieved this win without a single touchdown, relying on six field goals from Chris Boswell.
Boswell's successful 50-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter extended the Steelers' lead to 18-10, but Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson connected with Zay Flowers for a 16-yard touchdown pass with just 1:06 left on the clock.
However, Jackson's attempt for a two-point conversion was unsuccessful, allowing the Steelers to secure the victory.
In another matchup, Jared Goff passed for 412 yards and four touchdowns as the Detroit Lions overwhelmed the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars with a score of 52-6.
Running back David Montgomery contributed significantly, rushing for two touchdowns and accumulating 75 yards on the ground during the rout.
The Jacksonville defense struggled both against the run and the pass, with Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown scoring twice and amassing 161 receiving yards.
In a contest involving Detroit's NFC North rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, Sam Darnold threw for two touchdowns and 246 yards, leading his team to a 23-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
The game was decided when Titans quarterback Will Levis attempted a deep pass to Calvin Ridley on Tennessee's final drive, but Harrison Smith showcased his agility by intercepting the ball.
Meanwhile, quarterback Jordan Love scored the go-ahead touchdown for the Green Bay Packers against their NFC North rivals, the Chicago Bears.
Love's rushing touchdown brought the score to 20-19, but the subsequent two-point conversion attempt failed, leaving the Bears in a position where a field goal would secure the win.
Chicago advanced 42 yards in seven plays, setting up Cairo Santos for a 46-yard field goal attempt for the win.
However, Santos's kick was expertly blocked by Karl Brooks, granting the Packers a victory and improving their record to 7-3 for the season.
Aaron Rodgers's underwhelming season persisted as his New York Jets dropped to a record of 3-8 following a narrow 28-27 defeat at home against the Indianapolis Colts.
Anthony Richardson contributed significantly to the Colts' success by rushing for a 4-yard touchdown, marking his second touchdown of the game, which ultimately secured the win for Indianapolis.
Later on Sunday, the undefeated reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs were set to compete against the Bills in Buffalo.
