Nick Foligno and Jason Dickinson found the back of the net in the last 6 minutes and 23 seconds of regular play to level the score of the game.
Zach Hyman found the back of the net and Connor McDavid assisted on three goals, extending his point streak to 12 points in five games, as the Oilers bounced back with a victory after their 16-game winning streak was snapped in their previous game in Las Vegas. Goalie Calvin Pickard made 24 saves to secure his fifth consecutive win.
Ryan Strome scored twice and Cam Fowler contributed with a goal and an assist for the Ducks, but their two-game winning streak and four-game points streak came to an end. Frank Vatrano and Adam Henrique both recorded two assists.
Anaheim goalie John Gibson made 19 saves before leaving the game after the second period due to a lower-body injury. Lukas Dostal stepped in and made eight saves but was handed the loss.
In the matchup between the Wild and Penguins, Kirill Kaprizov scored the go-ahead goal in the third period, helping Minnesota secure a victory in St. Paul. Kaprizov, Matt Boldy, and Jonas Brodin each had a goal and an assist for the Wild, while Reilly Smith and Sidney Crosby scored for Pittsburgh.
The Wild honored Marc-Andre Fleury with a pregame ceremony and video tributes, and Fleury delivered an outstanding performance against his former team, making 34 saves to earn his 553rd career win.
In the overtime thriller between the Rangers and Blackhawks, Mika Zibanejad scored the game-winning goal, lifting New York to a victory in Chicago.
Chris Kreider also had a goal and an assist for the Rangers, who have been on a hot streak, winning four consecutive games and earning points in six of their last seven.
Zibanejad's overtime winner came from a wrist shot in the right circle, beating Blackhawks goaltender Petr Mrazek.
Although the Blackhawks picked up a point, they suffered their sixth consecutive loss, which is their longest losing streak of the season. This was the first time they scored more than two goals since January 19.
