Matthew Tkachuk, aged 26, contributed significantly to the visiting Florida Panthers' triumphant streak by scoring a goal and providing two assists on Wednesday. This outstanding performance played a pivotal role in securing their third consecutive victory, with a final score of 5-2 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Anton Lundell contributed two goals, while Jonah Gadjovich and Aaron Ekblad also found the back of the net for the Panthers, who have emerged victorious in seven out of their last eight games.

Evan Rodrigues played a crucial role with two assists. Florida's goaltender, Sergei Bobrovsky, made 25 saves to secure the win.

On the other side, Bryan Rust and John Ludvig, who scored his first NHL goal, provided the lone goals for the Penguins, who have suffered three consecutive losses.

Unfortunately, Jake Guentzel had to leave the game in the third period due to an upper-body injury. Pittsburgh's goaltender, Tristan Jarry, made 18 saves in the match.

Winnipeg, to a 1-0 victory over San Jose. The lone goal scorer for the Jets was Morgan Barron, who netted his ninth goal of the season.

Neal Pionk and Dylan Samberg provided the assists on Barron's goal. Despite the loss, San Jose's goaltender, Kaapo Kahkonen, put on an impressive display, making 38 saves after a 13-day break following the All-Star break.

Moving on to the Wild versus Coyotes game, Matt Boldy and Joel Eriksson Ek both had a goal and an assist to propel Minnesota to a 3-1 victory over struggling Arizona in Tempe,

Ariz. Jonas Brodin also contributed a goal for the Wild, who are currently on a four-game winning streak and have won seven of their last nine games.

Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury made 25 saves, including a crucial breakaway stop on Nick Bjugstad when the game was still scoreless. Logan Cooley managed to find the back of the net for the Coyotes, but it wasn't enough to end their seven-game losing streak. Arizona has only secured four victories in their last 17 games since the start of 2024.
