NHL roundup: Jets rout Coyotes to secure sixth straight victory

Nikolaj Ehlers contributed a goal and an assist, while Connor Hellebuyck made 15 saves for the Jets, who have been on a remarkable run with a record of 10-0-2 in their last 12 games.

Vladislav Namestnikov gave Winnipeg the lead at 17:16 of the first period, thanks to a pass from Arizona defenseman Sean Durzi. Durzi sent the puck to Namestnikov in the left circle, with Cole Perfetti applying pressure, resulting in a 1-0 advantage for the Jets.

Mark Scheifele took charge in the third period, scoring both of his goals, including an empty-netter to secure the victory.

With this victory, the Capitals completed a season series sweep against the Kings and improved their record to 8-2-0 against Los Angeles since the 2018-19 season.

Kevin Fiala scored twice for the Kings, and Adrian Kempe added another goal, but it wasn't enough to prevent their season-high fifth consecutive loss. Cam Talbot made 30 saves in the losing effort.

Michael Rasmussen scored the game-winning goal with just 1:07 remaining, as Moritz Seider's shot deflected off Rasmussen's skate and past Ducks goalie Lukas Dostal.

Trevor Zegras scored both goals for Anaheim, but it wasn't enough to prevent their winless streak from extending to five games. Dostal made 25 saves in the loss.

The Chicago Blackhawks secured a victory against the Calgary Flames with a final score of 4-3. Colin Blackwell showcased his skills with two goals and an assist, while Nikita Zaitsev and Jarred Tinordi also made significant contributions, earning two points each.

The game-winning goal was scored by Blackwell during the third period at the 14:37 mark, as he expertly beat Calgary's goaltender, Daniel Vladar, with a precise wrist shot from the slot.

Petr Mrazek, Chicago's goaltender, stood tall with 28 saves, even though his team was outshot by Calgary 31-20. Unfortunately for the Flames, Nazem Kadri's two goals were not enough to secure a victory, resulting in their second consecutive loss.
