Igor Shesterkin recorded a season-high 41 saves as the New York Rangers secured their eighth consecutive win of the season, defeating the Dallas Stars 3-1 on Tuesday evening.

Igor Shesterkin, who secured his fourth consecutive victory, showcased his 23rd win by executing a remarkable left pad save on Jamie Benn with approximately six minutes remaining.

He then dove across the crease to deny Tyler Seguin's attempt just before the puck crossed the red line. Shesterkin further preserved the one-goal lead by executing a split and making a sprawling glove save on Wyatt Johnston with 2:34 left in the second period.

Adam Fox and Kaapo Kakko found the back of the net to propel the Rangers to their eighth consecutive win, marking their longest winning streak since securing nine victories in a row from October 25 to November 15, 2015. Vincent Trocheck sealed the victory with an empty-net goal at 1:41 left in the third period.

Miro Heiskanen scored a power-play goal for Dallas as they suffered their third consecutive defeat (0-1-2) and dropped to a record of 12-4-3 in their last 19 games. Goaltender Scott Wedgewood made 23 saves to keep the Stars in contention for the win.

In another game, the Kings triumphed over the Blue Jackets with a score of 5-1. Pierre-Luc Dubois netted two goals for Los Angeles, while Quinton Byfield, Drew Doughty, and Kevin Fiala also contributed to the victory. Cam Talbot made 33 saves and added an assist for the Kings, who have now secured four consecutive wins.

Florida Panthers secured a 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators in overtime. Anton Lundell emerged as the hero, scoring the winning goal just 1 minute and 36 seconds into the extra period.

This triumph marked the Panthers' sixth consecutive win and their 10th victory in their last 11 games. With this result, they surpassed the Boston Bruins to claim the top spot in the Atlantic Division and the highest point total in the Eastern Conference.

Matthew Tkachuk, who had a fierce battle against his brother Brady throughout the game, provided the assist on Lundell's decisive goal.

The Panthers' goaltender, Sergei Bobrovsky, showcased his skills by making 28 saves and outdueling Joonas Korpisalo, who made 31 saves for the Senators.

Bobrovsky currently leads all Eastern Conference goalies with 28 wins. Brandon Montour and Aaron Ekblad also contributed with goals for Florida.

On the other side, Thomas Chabot and Tim Stutzle found the back of the net for Ottawa, but it wasn't enough to prevent their third loss in four games.
