The NHL's Tuesday schedule was filled with excitement as the San Jose Sharks ended the Detroit Red Wings' seven-game winning streak, while Kyle Connor achieved his sixth career hat trick in the Winnipeg Jets' commanding victory over the Vancouver Canucks.
San Jose (14-26-6) does not frequently experience success like many other teams in the league, yet the Sharks surged with four goals in the third period to secure a 6-3 victory over the Red Wings, thus completing a two-game sweep in their season series.

The Jets added three more goals from Neal Pionk (6), Nino Niederreiter (12), and Mark Scheifele (26), while Nils Hoglander (3) managed to score for the Canucks.
With this win, the Jets improved their record to 30-12-2 for the season, while the Canucks (19-14-10) suffered a loss in the first game of their season series. The two teams are scheduled to meet again on March 18th.
