In Tempe, Arizona, the Arizona Coyotes showcased an impressive display of resilience as they scored six unanswered goals in the third period to secure a 7-4 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.

Michael Carcone stood out with two goals, while Alex Kerfoot contributed with one goal and one assist.

Additionally, Josh Doan, Nick Bjugstad, Josh Brown, and Logan Cooley also found the back of the net for the Coyotes.

Despite trailing 4-1 early in the third period, the Coyotes staged a remarkable comeback against the defending Stanley Cup champions.

Goaltender Karel Vejmelka played a crucial role, making 20 saves to help secure the win. On the other side,

William Karlsson had a two-point performance with one goal, and Jack Eichel, Anthony Mantha, and Chandler Stephenson each added a goal for the Golden Knights.

Goalie Logan Thompson made 25 saves for Vegas, who currently hold the third position in the Pacific Division and had their three-game winning streak come to an end.

Notably, the Coyotes managed to score three goals in just 67 seconds during the third period to level the game.

Carcone then sealed the victory with the go-ahead goal, assisted by a shot that deflected off a defender, leaving only 5:13 remaining on the clock. Arizona added two more goals to solidify their triumph.

The Carolina Hurricanes emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over the Washington Capitals, thanks to Sebastian Aho's winning goal in the final two minutes in Raleigh,

N.C. Jake Guentzel scored twice, Martin Necas added one goal, Pyotr Kochetkov made 14 saves, and Jaccob Slavin recorded two assists for the Hurricanes.

On the other hand, Alex Ovechkin scored twice, Dylan Strome had two assists, and Darcy Kuemper stopped 41 shots for the Capitals, who have now lost five consecutive games and slipped out of a playoff position.
