Stamkos achieved a remarkable milestone in his career by scoring four goals in a single game, marking his first-ever four-goal game. Additionally, he reached his 200th career power-play goal, further solidifying his prowess on the ice. Assisting Stamkos in this impressive victory, Kucherov contributed with a goal and two assists, while Sheary provided two assists. Motte and Cirelli also made their mark by adding goals to Tampa Bay's tally.

On the other side, Edmonton's Nugent-Hopkins showcased his skills by scoring a goal and assisting twice. Nurse displayed his versatility by scoring a short-handed goal, while McDavid and Hyman capitalized on power-play opportunities to contribute goals for their team. Skinner, Edmonton's goaltender, made 17 saves to help his team throughout the game.

For the Senators, Dominik Kubalik and Mathieu Joseph scored, and Joonas Korpisalo made 26 saves.

In a thrilling contest, the Columbus Blue Jackets prevailed 6-5 in overtime against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Kent Johnson, with his second goal of the game, secured the win for Columbus after a remarkable third-period comeback by the Maple Leafs, who scored five goals to force overtime. Auston Matthews scored twice in the final two minutes of the third period to level the score, but Johnson's overtime goal sealed the victory for Columbus.
