NHL roundup: Surging Stars Top Seattle Kraken In Overtime

In Monday night's thrilling match, Thomas Harley emerged as the hero for the Dallas Stars, securing a 4-3 victory against the Seattle Kraken with a goal at the 2:16 mark of overtime.
Matt Duchene contributed two goals and an assist, while Jason Robertson added another goal for the Stars, extending their point streak to four games (3-0-1). Joe Pavelski also chipped in with two assists, and goaltender Scott Wedgewood, standing in for the injured Jake Oettinger, made 35 saves, bringing his season record to 7-1-2.
Matty Beniers and Tomas Tatar, who recently joined the team, each notched a goal and an assist, and Eeli Tolvanen also scored for the Kraken, who have also earned points in four consecutive games (2-0-2). Goalie Joey Daccord, starting his fifth consecutive game in place of the injured Philipp Grubauer, stopped 24 of 28 shots.
Harley's game-winning goal came from a tip-in at the left post after a slick pass from Duchene, who controlled the puck near the right faceoff circle. Tolvanen scored during a scramble in front of the net with 21.8 seconds left in regulation, tying the game at 3-3.
In another game, the Ducks defeated the Red Wings 4-3, with Adam Henrique and Troy Terry each contributing a goal and an assist for Anaheim. Radko Gudas and Pavel Mintyukov also scored for the Ducks, while goalie Lukas Dostal made 29 saves.
The Canadiens secured a 3-2 victory in overtime against the Jets, with Justin Barron scoring the game-winning power-play goal. Montreal's Josh Anderson had a goal and an assist, and Christian Dvorak also scored. For the Jets, Gabriel Vilardi and Cole Perfetti found the back of the net.
Mikael Backlund's short-handed goal in the third period lifted the Flames to a 3-1 win over the Panthers. Martin Pospisil and Blake Coleman also scored for Calgary, with Coleman's goal coming on a play where he was tripped while on a breakaway with the Panthers' net empty. Goalie Jacob Markstrom made 33 saves in his first game back after a two-week absence due to a broken finger.
The Penguins secured a 4-3 victory over the Wild, with Sidney Crosby scoring the tiebreaking power-play goal in the third period. Jake Guentzel provided the assist, and Ryan Hartman, Jake Middleton, and Vinni Lettieri scored for the Wild.
