Nigeria's striker Victor Boniface set to miss African Cup of Nations due to injury

Boniface, the top scorer for Bundesliga leaders Leverkusen, will unfortunately be sidelined for his country's final warm-up friendly against Guinea.
Local media has reported that he will be out of action for up to six weeks.
Despite this setback, Boniface took to his Instagram account to wish his teammates good luck and all the best at the AFCON.
Since making his international debut in October, Boniface has earned four more caps.
His injury adds to the recent withdrawal of Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, who was injured in Leicester City's win against Cardiff City.
Another one of Ndidi's Leicester teammates, Kelechi Iheanacho, is also dealing with an injury and is currently being assessed at Nigeria's training camp.
However, there is hope that he will recover in time for the tournament, which begins on Saturday.
Nigeria will start their Cup of Nations campaign with a Group A match against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, followed by matches against hosts Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau.
