Odegaard in danger of missing key Arsenal games after going off injured against Austria

Martin Odegaard, aged 25, sustained what appeared to be a significant ankle injury during Norway's 2-1 victory over Austria in the Nations League on Monday, with Erling Haaland, 24, scoring a decisive late goal.
The Arsenal captain exited the field after receiving treatment for several minutes in the second half following a clash with Austria's Christoph Baumgartner. Norway's head coach, Stale Solbakken, expressed concern regarding the severity of the injury.
"Martin Odegaard's injury appeared serious in the dressing room; I observed him sitting with the physiotherapists around him, and he was unable to continue. We suspect it is an ankle sprain," the coach stated in an interview with Norwegian TV 2.
"Indeed, it is a sprain, and as those familiar with football understand, there is a possibility of a positive outcome if the ligaments remain intact."
Norway's physician, Ola Sand, reported that the 25-year-old was in stable condition, although an MRI might be conducted the following day.
"Martin is currently doing quite well. He has sustained a minor ankle sprain. We will monitor his condition throughout the evening and into tomorrow to determine the next steps.
"Ankle sprains can be challenging to assess immediately, so we must observe how the situation develops. We will conduct an examination upon our return to the hotel, and we may utilize ultrasound for further evaluation. If there are uncertainties, an MRI will be scheduled for tomorrow," Sand explained.
Norway currently occupies second place in League B Group 3, sharing four points with Slovenia, whom they are set to face on October 10.
Should the injury be serious, Odegaard would be sidelined for crucial upcoming matches for Arsenal, including fixtures against Tottenham, Atalanta, and Manchester City.
