Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Le Havre: PSG stay unbeaten in Ligue 1 with victory over visitors

Paris Saint-Germain maintained their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 with a composed 2-1 home win over Le Havre on Saturday, as the newly crowned champions continued their pursuit of an invincible league season.
With the Ligue 1 title already secured two weeks ago and a Champions League semi-final on the horizon, manager Luis Enrique rotated heavily, making nine changes to the side that progressed in Europe despite a second-leg defeat to Aston Villa.
PSG struck early at the Parc des Princes, taking the lead in the eighth minute. Bradley Barcola slipped a pass into the box for Desire Doue, whose deft first touch beat his marker before his shot—helped by a deflection—found the back of the net.
The visitors struggled to cope with PSG’s movement and tempo, barely creating any chances in a one-sided first half. After the break, the hosts doubled their advantage just five minutes in. A flowing move in tight spaces ended with Senny Mayulu delicately lifting the ball over goalkeeper Mathieu Gorgelin, allowing Goncalo Ramos to tap home with ease.
Le Havre responded on the hour mark through Issa Soumare, who rose highest to head in from a corner. However, the goal proved to be their only real threat as PSG managed the final stages confidently, extending their Ligue 1 winning streak to ten matches.
The victory pushes PSG 24 points clear of AS Monaco at the top of the table, while Le Havre remain in 16th place on 27 points—just three above the relegation playoff position. Their survival hopes may hinge on results elsewhere, including Saint-Etienne’s clash with Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday.
