Perfect win, says Maresca, after Chelsea's thrilling comeback win against Spurs

Enzo Maresca praised his Chelsea team for their remarkable comeback, overcoming a two-goal deficit within the first 11 minutes to secure a 4-3 victory against Tottenham Hotspur, thereby ascending to second place in the Premier League on Sunday.
The visitors faced significant challenges after Marc Cucurella's two missteps resulted in goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski. However, Chelsea responded with impressive determination.
Cole Palmer converted two penalties, the latter executed with a daring Panenka style, while Jadon Sancho and Enzo Fernandez also contributed to the scoreline, narrowing Liverpool's lead to four points.
This victory marked Chelsea's fourth consecutive win in the league, and although Maresca continues to downplay his team's title aspirations, this perspective is increasingly met with skepticism.
"Winning at this stadium without facing difficulties is simply impossible. This is likely the ideal victory for that reason," the Italian manager stated to the press.
"After the match, I urged the players to maintain focus on a daily basis, concentrating on our training sessions and the upcoming matches on Thursday and Sunday. It is essential to enjoy the day off, and upon our return, we must train diligently and prepare for the game."
Maresca acknowledged that while fans may indulge in dreams of success, the reality within the team is that they are still in the process of development.
Cucurella experienced embarrassment due to his choice of footwear, which led to his falls and allowed Tottenham to capitalize on the situation.
Nevertheless, smiles were exchanged between the Spaniard and Maresca at the conclusion of the match.
"He mentioned to me post-game that he aimed to inject emotion into the match!" Maresca recounted to Sky Sports.
"On a serious note, to come to this stadium against such a formidable opponent and find ourselves 2-0 down, yet persist with our game plan both on and off the ball, and then adjust our tactics in the second half, I believe we merited the victory."
He added, "Ultimately, it is a matter for Marc to address. They are experienced enough to choose the appropriate footwear for the match. The key takeaway is that despite being 2-0 down, we maintained our approach and continued to create opportunities."
Palmer has participated in 50 Premier League goals for Chelsea in 48 matches since his transfer from Manchester City, contributing 33 goals and 17 assists.
"The Premier League features numerous elite players and exceptional talent. Cole is among those players," Maresca stated.
