Pogba 'ready to give up money' to remain at Juventus amid exit rumors

Paul Pogba, aged 31, has expressed a strong desire to return to Juventus following the reduction of his doping ban, even if it necessitates a reduction in his salary.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday, the French World Cup champion stated, "I am prepared to sacrifice my earnings to play for Juve again; my goal is to return to this club."
He emphasized, "The truth is that I am a player for Juve, and I am getting ready to compete for them."
Pogba's current contract with the renowned Italian club is set to expire in June 2026 and is valued at eight million euros annually.
During his suspension, he is receiving only the minimum salary as outlined in the Serie A collective agreement, which amounts to just over €2,000 per month.

Despite the reduction of his ban, reports from the Italian media suggest that Juventus is considering the termination of his contract.
"It will be a new Pogba—more driven, more astute, and stronger... All I want is to play football," he remarked, reflecting on his aspirations.
"I aim to be ready for training and matches with Juve; in my mind, I am solely focused on being a Juve player," he added.
Pogba's four-year ban was shortened to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) earlier in October, allowing him to return to play on March 11 of the following year, just days before he turns 32.
The midfielder tested positive for testosterone in August 2023 after a match against Udinese.
He was provisionally suspended in September and subsequently received a four-year ban from the Italian National Anti-Doping Tribunal the following February.
Pogba's representatives have stated that the testosterone was derived from a dietary supplement prescribed by a physician he consulted in the United States.
