Premier League managers unconvinced by 'blue card' sin bin proposal

Liverpool's esteemed manager, Jurgen Klopp, aged 56, along with Tottenham's boss, Ange Postecoglou, aged 58, expressed their strong disapproval on Friday regarding a contentious suggestion to implement blue cards and sin bins.
The topic of discussion will revolve around whether a blue card should have been given instead of a yellow card, resulting in a 10-minute suspension. In the past, it would have either been a red card or just a yellow card.
While initially, it may not seem like a fantastic idea, I cannot recall the last time these individuals came up with a fantastic idea, if they ever had one. Personally, at the age of 56, I have never witnessed such an idea.
Postecoglou expressed his concerns about the plan, stating that it could be another mistake by football's authorities, following the controversial introduction of the widely criticized VAR system.
He questions the sudden urgency to introduce new things and believes that there isn't much wrong with the game as he sees it.
His main issue lies with how VAR has changed the overall experience for players, managers, and supporters.
Additionally, he doesn't see how a different colored card will make any significant difference.
Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal boss, also voiced his opinion, suggesting that the proposals should undergo rigorous testing before blue cards are implemented.
He believes that there is already a lot happening with decisions and technology in the game and questions whether we are ready for such changes.
He hopes that thorough testing will be conducted before introducing this idea at the professional level.
