PSG Star Bradley Barcola Wins UNFP Maiden Award Previously Claimed 11 Times by Real Madrid’s Mbappé

Bradley Barcola, Paris Saint-Germain's rising star, has been named the UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Month for September, marking his first-ever win of this prestigious award. The 22-year-old French forward outshone competitors such as Olympique Marseille’s Mason Greenwood and Lille’s Jonathan David to claim the accolade, which honors outstanding performances in Ligue 1.

Barcola’s strong form in September, where he netted three crucial goals, has been instrumental in PSG’s unbeaten run in the 2024-25 season under new manager Luis Enrique. His contributions have further solidified his reputation as one of the most exciting young talents in French football.

This award holds special significance in PSG’s history, with Barcola being the 49th PSG player to receive the honor since its establishment in 2003. Notably, Kylian Mbappé, now at Real Madrid, holds the record for the most Player of the Month titles with 11, while Zlatan Ibrahimović sits in second place with five.
