RB Leipzig 1-1 Werder Bremen: Sesko's second-half strike rescues point for hosts

RB Leipzig drew 1-1 at home against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with Benjamin Sesko cancelling out Nicolas Seiwald's own goal to extend their unbeaten streak to ten games.

Leipzig are fourth with 64 points and have already secured a Champions League spot for next season, with Germany earning an additional spot after their clubs performed well in European competitions.

Leipzig midfielder Seiwald put Bremen ahead in the 35th minute by heading into his own net, but substitute Sesko levelled for Leipzig after the hour mark, scoring with his first touch off a Mohamed Simakan headed pass.

Bremen currently sit 11th with 39 points.
