Real Madrid defeat Mallorca to book Super Cup final clash with Barcelona

Real Madrid secured a place in the Spanish Super Cup final against their rivals Barcelona after a commanding 3-0 victory over Mallorca, thanks to Jude Bellingham's (21) goal in the second half. This victory marks the seventh win in nine encounters for Carlo Ancelotti's team.
The reigning champions exhibited dominance in the first 20 minutes, with Lucas Vazquez, Rodrygo, and Bellingham all having their attempts denied by Mallorca's goalkeeper, Dominik Greif.
The one-sided nature of the match persisted as the first half unfolded; however, despite their possession, Los Blancos struggled to penetrate the Mallorca defense, which remained resolute under pressure.
Rodrygo nearly broke the deadlock just before halftime, but the Brazilian's shot went over the bar following a well-executed play by Bellingham.
Fortunate to still be level, Mallorca nearly took the lead shortly after the break when a defensive lapse by Vazquez allowed Dani Rodriguez to unleash a close-range effort that narrowly missed the target.
This close call served as a wake-up call for Ancelotti's side, who regained control and took the lead in the 63rd minute. Bellingham capitalized on a loose ball from eight yards out after Rodrygo's header struck the post and Greif denied Kylian Mbappe.
With newfound momentum, Los Blancos sought a second goal to secure their victory, but Greif once again came to Mallorca's aid, saving attempts from Rodrygo and Mbappé in quick succession.
As the match approached its final ten minutes, Real Madrid continued to create opportunities and ultimately added two goals in stoppage time to enhance their lead.
First, Martin Valjent inadvertently scored an own goal from a through ball by Brahim Diaz, followed by Rodrygo sealing the convincing win by scoring at the back post, setting the stage for an exciting final.
For Mallorca, the quest for their first Super Cup title since 1998 continues.
