Real Madrid keeper Courtois undergoes successful surgery after meniscus tear

Real Madrid shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois (31) has recently undergone a triumphant surgical procedure following a meniscus tear in his right knee, which occurred during a training session. The esteemed LaLiga club made this announcement on Wednesday.
Real Madrid announced that the Belgium international, Courtois, will be sidelined for a number of weeks due to an injury he sustained on Tuesday.
In a statement, Real Madrid stated that Courtois will commence his recovery process in the upcoming days.
This setback comes after Courtois spent several months out of action due to an ACL tear in his left knee back in August.
Despite making 31 league appearances for Real last season, Courtois has yet to feature for the club in the current campaign.
Real Madrid, currently leading the LaLiga standings and holding an eight-point advantage over Barcelona, will face Athletic Bilbao on March 31st.
