Real Madrid's Brahim Diaz to represent Morocco

On Wednesday, Real Madrid winger Brahim Diaz (24), was included in Morocco's squad, having chosen to play for the North African team instead of Spain.
Diaz has been named in Walid Regragui's 24-player squad for the upcoming matches against Angola and Mauritania, as announced by the Moroccan Football Federation.
He previously played for Spain in a single match, where he scored against Lithuania in 2021.
According to FIFA regulations, players are allowed to change their international allegiance if they have played fewer than three matches for a country before turning 21 and have not represented that nation for a minimum of three years.
The former AC Milan winger Diaz has been in impressive form for Real Madrid this season, finding the back of the net eight times in 32 appearances across all competitions.
