Ronaldo breaks Saudi Pro League's single-season scoring record

Cristiano Ronaldo ended his first full season in the Saudi Pro League with a bang, breaking the record for the most goals in a single campaign.

On Monday, the Portuguese star scored twice in Al Nassr's 4-2 victory over Al Ittihad, bringing his total for the season to an impressive 35 goals.

Ronaldo's achievement surpasses the previous record of 34 goals set by Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah, also a former Al Nassr player, in the 2018-19 season.

Ronaldo, who has had a storied career with clubs like Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, joined Al Nassr in January 2023.
