Sabonis triple-double leads Kings past Wizards 143-131

Domantas Sabonis had 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists, and the Sacramento Kings scored 85 points in the second and third quarters to defeat the visiting Washington Wizards 143-131 on Monday night.
For the Kings, all five starters scored in double figures, and Malik Monk added 10 points off the bench as they set a season high for points while extending their winning streak to three games.
Jordan Poole scored 28 points for the Wizards, who have now lost the first two games of a four-game trip against Western Conference opponents.
After a hard-fought 112-108 loss in Phoenix on Sunday, the Wizards led by as many as six points early in the first quarter and were still up 40-37 with 7:23 left in the second.
The Kings outscored the Wizards 29-16 in the second half to take a 66-56 lead into the half.
Sabonis, who recorded his third triple-double of the season, led all scorers with 20 points at the half. In the first two quarters, De'Aaron Fox had 16 points and Keegan Murray had 10.
The Kings maintained their lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Wizards 29-13 to take a 95-69 lead with 5:42 remaining. Sacramento shot 76.2 percent from the field in the quarter, including 5 of 8 from beyond the arc.
Fox finished the game with 30 points, six assists, and three steals. Murray finished with 25 points and a 4-for-7 3-point shooting percentage.
Harrison Barnes had 19 points and Kevin Huerter had 11 for the Kings, who had a season-high 132 points in an overtime win over the Los Angeles Lakers in October.
Poole finished two points shy of his season high, shooting 10-for-18 overall and 8-for-13 on 3-pointers.
For Washington, Kyle Kuzma had 27 points and a team-high eight rebounds, while Tyus Jones had 16 points and a team-high nine assists. The Wizards allowed 140 points or more for the sixth time this season.
Washington got 11 points from Mike Muscala and Bilal Coulibaly off the bench.
