Saudi champions Al Hilal extends coach Jorge Jesus' contract

Al Hilal has made a strategic move by extending the contract of their manager, Jorge Jesus, by an additional year, as announced by the Saudi Pro League champions on Tuesday.
This decision comes in recognition of Jesus's remarkable leadership during his second tenure with the Saudi giants, which commenced last year. Under his guidance, the Portuguese tactician orchestrated an impressive campaign, guiding the team to clinch the league title with an undefeated record.
Notably, the squad showcased formidable prowess on the field, netting an impressive tally of 101 goals while conceding merely 23 times throughout the season.
Jesus, at 69 years old, brings a wealth of experience to the table, having previously helmed Al Hilal from 2018 to 2019. His return has proven fruitful, as evidenced by the team's recent triumph in the Super Cup, where they secured victory over Al Ittihad in April.
The momentum continues to build for Al Hilal, with the upcoming Saudi Cup final against Al Nassr offering another opportunity to add to their illustrious collection of silverware. Under Jesus's astute guidance, the club remains poised for further success on the domestic and potentially international stage.
