Serbia name 26-man squad for Euro 2024

On Tuesday, Serbia coach Dragan Stojković announced his final 26-man squad for the European Championship.

Dusan Tadic, a Fenerbahce midfielder, will captain the squad. The 35-year-old playmaker will be joined by Al-Hilal forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, Serbia's record goalscorer, who scored five times in the qualifiers.

Another player who could have a significant impact on Serbia's progress to the finals is Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has 16 goals in 33 Serie A appearances.

Serbia have not qualified for the European Championship since 2000, when they competed as the Former Republic of Yugoslavia and finished in the quarterfinals.

Serbia finished second in their Euro 2024 qualifying group and will face England, Denmark, and Slovenia in Group C at the finals.
