Spain crush Georgia to set up mouth-watering quarter-final with Germany

Spain overturned a deficit to defeat Georgia 4-1 and secure a spot in the UEFA Euro 2024 quarterfinals, maintaining their flawless record against the Crusaders despite a spirited effort from the tournament's resilient underdogs.

La Roja emerged victorious in both head-to-head encounters during qualifying, boasting a dominant aggregate score of 10-2 and showcasing their superiority as the match unfolded in Cologne.

Despite facing Giorgi Mamardashvili, the goalkeeper who ranked fourth in La Liga for clean sheets this season, Spain's attacking prowess was evident as they tested the Georgia defense.
