Sterling stars as Chelsea hit four past Burnley

Chelsea showcased its resurgence under manager Mauricio Pochettino by staging a comeback to defeat Burnley 4-1 in the Premier League. This victory marked Chelsea's first consecutive league wins since March and its third straight win in all competitions.

Despite falling behind to a goal by Wilson Odobert in the first half, Chelsea responded with an impressive four-goal surge. An own goal by Ameen Al Dakhil leveled the score at halftime, and Chelsea took the lead after the break when Cole Palmer converted a penalty. Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson added to the tally to complete the dominant performance.

This win followed Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Fulham earlier in the week, and the team was keen to build on its recent success, which included only its second league victory of the season.

Odobert gave Burnley the lead in the 15th minute when he found the net between Marc Cucurella and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez. However, Chelsea equalized in the 42nd minute when Sterling's cross deflected off Al Dakhil and into the net.

At the start of the second half, Sterling was fouled by Vitinho on the edge of the box, resulting in a penalty that was confirmed by VAR. Palmer calmly converted the penalty to score his first goal for Chelsea.

Chelsea extended its lead in the 65th minute when Conor Gallagher set up Sterling for a confident finish. Burnley supporters began leaving the stadium in the 74th minute as Sterling's cross found Palmer, who passed to substitute Jackson. Jackson managed to evade Dara O'Shea in front of goal before finding the back of the net.
