The Turmoil Between Ten Hag and Sancho continues at Manchester United

Jadon Sancho's exclusion from Manchester United's recent team photo can be attributed to the current dispute with Erik ten Hag. The United winger engaged in a heated argument with Ten Hag, accusing him of dishonesty when explaining the reason behind his omission from the squad against Arsenal last month. Consequently, Sancho has been barred from future squad selections and denied access to first-team training.

Perhaps the most striking development in this ongoing situation is Sancho's omission from the official team photograph. This marks the first in-person team photo taken by United since the 2014-15 season, when the club conducted the photography session at its Carrington training facility.

A video posted on United's official TikTok account showcased all the players gathering for the photograph, yet conspicuously absent was Sancho. This absence has not taken camp officials by surprise, as they have not seen the 23-year-old for several weeks.

On the match day, Sancho was neither at the stadium nor accompanying the team; he was spotted watching the U18 national team play during the match instead. He is even denied the privilege of dining with his teammates, with his meals reportedly being delivered in black takeaway boxes bearing United insignia and sealed with plastic lids.

TalkSPORT has reported that the former Borussia Dortmund star has been given the ultimatum to apologize to Ten Hag or face a continued ban. However, it appears highly unlikely that the winger will acquiesce, leaving his future at United uncertain. The most probable scenario now seems to be a January transfer, with a return to Dortmund also being considered.

Sancho's United teammates have made pleas for him to reconsider and apologize to the manager, but these efforts have thus far proven unsuccessful. The rift between the player and coach continues to fester.

Sancho arrived at United in 2021 with significant expectations, having been signed for £73 million from Dortmund. His prolific record in the Bundesliga, where he scored 50 goals and provided 64 assists in 137 appearances, generated great anticipation. However, his time at Old Trafford has not been as fruitful, with only 12 goals scored in 82 games for the Red Devils.
