'There will be fire': Furious Salah fuels flames of touchline spat with Klopp

Mohamed Salah, aged 31, disrupted Jurgen Klopp's attempt to downplay a touchline argument during Liverpool's 2-2 draw against West Ham on Saturday.

Despite a painful loss in the Merseyside derby, Klopp decided to bench Salah in an effort to rejuvenate his fatigued team. Liverpool managed to recover from conceding an early goal and took a 2-1 lead in the second half.

However, Michail Antonio dashed their hopes of a Premier League title when he scored an equalizer in the 77th minute.

Prior to Antonio's goal, Salah was waiting to be substituted and engaged in a heated conversation with Klopp, seemingly expressing his anger towards the manager.

The situation escalated to the point where fellow substitute Darwin Nunez had to intervene and separate Salah from their manager before they entered the field.

Klopp addressed the incident, stating that they had discussed it in the dressing room and considered it resolved. When asked if Salah was fine with the situation, Klopp claimed that was his impression.

However, when Salah was approached by reporters and asked to comment, he cryptically admitted that speaking about it would ignite a controversy.

In recent weeks, Salah has struggled to find his top form, managing to score only once in his last six matches.

Speculation has arisen regarding his future at Anfield, with Saudi clubs reportedly showing interest in acquiring his services at the end of the season.
