Union Berlin 1-5 Bayern Munich: Mueller marks milestone with brace as Bayern thrash hosts

Thomas Mueller scored twice for Bayern Munich in his 400th Bundesliga start, and Harry Kane scored his 33rd league goal of the season in a 5-1 win over Union Berlin on Saturday.
Leon Goretzka and 18-year-old Mathys Tel also scored as coach Thomas Tuchel rounded out a successful week with a Champions League semi-final spot and a comfortable road win.
Second-placed Bayern lost the title to Bayer Leverkusen last week, but they have 66 points from 30 games, three ahead of VfB Stuttgart, who visit Werder Bremen this Sunday.
"We're pleased. It has been a perfect week for us," Tuchel said. "Coming here and winning like this certainly wasn't a given, so well done to the lads. It was a team performance in a tough game."
Bayern took the lead on the half-hour mark when Mueller left Tel's pass into the box for Goretzka to thump in a shot off the underside of the bar against relegation-threatened Union.
Kane scored the second with a 30-metre free-kick, and Mueller rifled home Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's cross in the second half.
Teenager Tel scored off Kane's pass just after the hour mark, before a rampant Bayern added a fifth through Mueller. Yorbe Vertessen scored a late consolation for the home team, who are three points above the relegation playoff spot.
RB Leipzig moved three points clear in fourth Champions League qualifying place with a 2-1 win over Heidenheim, despite having played one more game than fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund, who face champions Leverkusen on Sunday.
Five minutes from the end, Lois Openda scored his 23rd goal of the season to secure Leipzig's victory.
Darmstadt ended a 22-game winless streak with a 2-0 away win over second-bottom Cologne.
Christoph Klarer and Oscar Vilhelmsson scored second-half goals, putting Darmstadt nine points behind the relegation playoffs with four games remaining.
Jonas Wind's first Bundesliga goal since November lifted Wolfsburg to a 1-0 victory over Bochum, moving them five points clear of the relegation playoff spot.
Borussia Moenchengladbach's Robin Hack scored a hat-trick, but they lost 4-3 to Hoffenheim in a seven-goal thriller after Anton Stach scored an added-time winner.
