VfB Stuttgart 3-0 Frankfurt: Stuttgart defeat visitors comfortably to stay hot on Bayern heels

VfB Stuttgart defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 on Saturday, staying third in the Bundesliga and level on points with second-placed Bayern Munich with five games remaining.

Stuttgart's top scorer, Serhou Guirassy, put the hosts ahead after 11 minutes with his 25th league goal of the season, a club record.

Deniz Undav doubled the hosts' lead six minutes later, then combined with Guirassy to set up Jamie Leweling for the third goal in the 37th minute.

Stuttgart and Bayern Munich are both on 63 points. RB Leipzig are fourth with 56. Bayer Leverkusen, who lead the league on 76 points, will win their first title on Sunday if they beat Werder Bremen.
