Vinicius Jr to sign new 5-year deal to stay at Real Madrid amid Saudi interest

Recent reports indicate that Vinicius Jr. is on the verge of finalizing a new five-year contract with Real Madrid, which will extend his stay at the club until the end of the decade, despite previous speculation about a lucrative offer from a Saudi Arabian club that has attracted high-profile players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.

Vinicius, who has been with Real Madrid since 2018, has celebrated three La Liga titles, two Champions League victories, and two Club World Cup championships during his tenure.

Although his current contract runs until the conclusion of the 2026-27 season, the club has proactively engaged with his representatives to renegotiate terms and mitigate interest from Saudi clubs that has persisted for over a year.

According to recent reports from La Ser, Vinicius is poised to sign a new agreement with Los Blancos, ensuring his commitment to the team until the 2029/2030 season.

The young Brazilian has experienced a challenging season thus far, struggling to replicate the form that propelled him to a Ballon D’or runner-up position last year.
