West Ham consider Edin Terzic as potential replacement should they part ways with Lopetegui

Edin Terzic has emerged as a potential candidate for the managerial position at West Ham United, should the club decide to dismiss their current coach in response to their ongoing performance issues.
West Ham has managed to secure only one victory in their last four league matches. Most recently, they experienced a significant setback, losing 5-2 at home to their local rivals, Arsenal. Currently positioned 14th in the league standings, the Hammers find themselves just six points above the relegation zone.
Recent reports from the English media indicate that Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui is unlikely to remain in his role. The 58-year-old took charge of the team this past summer, following the departure of David Moyes.
If a coaching change occurs, Edin Terzic is reportedly among the candidates being considered for the role, as noted by Sky.
In the previous season, the 42-year-old guided Borussia Dortmund to the UEFA Champions League final, after which he unexpectedly parted ways with the club.
Terzic has prior experience with West Ham United, having served as an assistant coach to Slaven Bilic from August 2015 to November 2017.
