Women's Tennis returns to Queen's Club with star-studded WTA 500 event

Madison Keys, the reigning Australian Open champion, and four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka are set to headline the highly anticipated return of women’s tennis to Queen’s Club for the first time in over five decades. The WTA 500 event, scheduled for June, was confirmed by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) on Tuesday.

Joining them in the lineup are British number one Katie Boulter, former US Open champion Emma Raducanu, and Eastbourne titleholder Daria Kasatkina, ensuring a strong field for the prestigious grass-court tournament.

"I'm thrilled to confirm Katie, Emma, Madison, and Naomi will be headlining the Championships in June," said tournament director Laura Robson. "Fans will see some of the best female players on the planet, and with three Grand Slam champions and the British number one in the mix, it promises to be a spectacular return to The Queen's Club for women's tennis."

The tournament will take place in the opening week of the grass-court season, serving as a key warm-up event before Wimbledon. It will also be held a week prior to the men's ATP event at Queen’s Club, adding to the excitement of the British summer tennis calendar.
