World Rugby Men's Player of the Year nominees list.

Ireland center Bundee Aki, stands among the four World Rugby Men's Player of the Year nominees, along with France's captain Antoine Dupont, Eben Etzebeth of South Africa, and New Zealand's Ardie Savea, as officially revealed on Thursday.

The announcement of the winner is scheduled for Sunday in Paris, one day after the World Cup final between the Springboks and All Blacks.

Aki had an exceptional performance during the tournament in France, despite Ireland's customary quarter-final exit. He led the attack statistics during the pool phase. In contrast, scrumhalf Dupont, the 2021 awardee, couldn't secure victory on home soil.

Lock Etzebeth is a strong contender, showcasing his powerful performances in the second row, contributing significantly to the Springboks' form this year.

Nevertheless, loose-forward Savea has been equally outstanding, playing a pivotal role for the All Blacks.

The Breakthrough Player of the Year nominees include two New Zealanders, wing Mark Tele'a and prop Tamaiti Williams. South Africa's flyhalf Manie Libbok, who didn't make the match-day 23 for the World Cup final, and French wing Louis Bielle-Biarrey round out the list of nominees.

Fiji's Simon Raiwalui is a contender for Coach of the Year, having led his team to a World Cup quarter-final and a victory over England at Twickenham. However, it's likely that the winner will emerge from either Andy Farrell (Ireland), Ian Foster (New Zealand), or Jacques Nienaber (South Africa).

The nominees for Women's Player of the Year, along with several other categories, will be disclosed after the conclusion of the WXV tournament on November 4, held in New Zealand.
